We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Tamworth, Staffordshire. We offer a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 12 hours worked over 3 days each week, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, always offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thanks and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for customers to buy.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

Qualifications

• Friendly, positive, and hard working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy, moving quickly between deliveries, till, shop floor, cleaning and stock rotation tasks.
• Reliable, dependable on each shift as part of a small team.
• Flexible with shifts, able to accommodate rota changes when teammates are off.
