Hours: 16 hours across 3 days per week.
Pay: £10.95-£12.81 per hour.

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Seafield Road, Leith. We offer a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 16 hours worked over 3 days each week, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Give fast and friendly service at the tills, always offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into our freezers and onto our shelves ready for customers to buy.
• Work with the rest of your team to complete the daily and weekly routines that keep our shops safe, clean and tidy.

Qualifications

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Enthusiasm for being busy, juggling deliveries, till service, customer assistance, cleaning and stock rotation.
• Reliability - you will be an important part of a small team and will be expected to do your best on each shift and not let the team down.
• Flexibility with shifts; you may need to cover for teammates on holiday or when schedules change, with rotations planned three weeks in advance.
