• Hours: 12 hours across 3 days per week
• Pay: £10.95-£12.81 per hour

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Greenwood Avenue, Hull. We offer a permanent part time position with a minimum of 12 hours worked over 3 days from each week, including weekends.

Pay & benefits

Responsibilities

• Make customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello
• Help customers find items they are looking for
• Give fast and friendly service at the tills, offer help to pack, and leave a good impression
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves for customers
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy

Qualifications

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work
• Enjoy being busy - capable of switching between deliveries, till work, customer service, cleaning and stock rotation
• Reliable - dependable for the team and customers on each shift
• Flexible with shifts - willing to adjust hours to cover for other team members as needed, with roster planned three weeks in advance
