Retail Assistant - Part Time

Location: Ely, Cardiff. We offer a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 20 hours worked over 4 days from 7 each week, including weekends.

Pay & Benefits

The amount you will earn depends on your age:

• Ages : £10.95 per hour
• Ages 21+: £12.81 per hour

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offer help to pack, and leave a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care during deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves for customers.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

Requirements

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Enthusiasm for a busy role with constant variety of tasks (deliveries, till, floor, cleaning, stock rotation).
• Reliability; you will be an important part of a small team and your colleagues and customers depend on you.
• Flexibility when it comes to shifts; rota planned three weeks in advance and work to cover when colleagues are off or on holiday.
• Successful completion of an Employment Verification check if offered the position.
