We are looking for a new retail assistant for our shop at Leeds Road, Huddersfield. The role is a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 12 hours over 3 days each week, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering assistance to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for customers.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

Requirements

• Friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy; ability to juggle deliveries, till work, shop floor assistance, cleaning and stock rotation.
• Reliable; you will be an important part of a small team and must perform best on each shift.
• Some flexibility with shifts; when teammates are off or on holiday you may need to work slightly different hours.
• Complete an Employment Verification check if successful and offered the position.

Position: PTRA, Hours: 12, Days: 3
