We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Tamworth, Staffordshire. This part time position requires a minimum of 12 hours across 3 days per week, including weekends.

Job Details

• Hours: 12 hours across 3 days per week
• Pay: £10.95-£12.81 per hour (age based)

Pay

• Ages 16-20: £10.95 per hour
• Ages 21+: £12.81 per hour

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and signing off with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and on shelves.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

• Friendly, positive, hard working approach.
• Enjoy being busy; able to handle tasks from deliveries to tills to cleaning.
• Reliable: dependable on every shift.
• Flexible shifts to cover team absences; rota planned three weeks in advance.
• Complete an Employment Verification check, if hired.
