Hours: 8 hours across 2 days per week.

Pay: £10.95-£12.81 per hour (depending on age).

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Pontypridd, Rhondda Cynon Taf. We offer a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 8 hours worked over 2 days per week, including weekends.

Pay & Benefits

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, including pack assistance and leaving a good impression with friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean, and tidy.

Qualifications

• A friendly, positive, and hard working approach to work.
• Ability to enjoy being busy and shift between tasks such as deliveries, till service, helping customers, cleaning, and stock rotation.
• Reliability and responsibility as an important team member.
• Flexibility with shifts, to cover for teammates when needed.
• Completion of an Employment Verification check if successful and offered the advertised position.
