We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Mitre Retail Park, Wolverhampton. This is a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 16 hours over 4 days each week, including weekends.

Key Details

• Hours: 16 hours across 4 days per week
• Pay:
  • Age 16-20: £10.95 per hour
  • Age 21+: £12.81 per hour

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello
• Help customers find the items they are looking for
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering assistance to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for purchase
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep our shop safe, clean and tidy

Qualifications & Requirements

• Friendly, positive, hard working approach to work
• Enjoy being busy with tasks such as handling deliveries, serving at the till, helping customers, cleaning, and stock rotation
• Reliability; you will be an important part of a small team and must not let the team down
• Flexibility with shifts; must be willing to vary hours when needed to cover for others
• Must complete an Employment Verification check if successful and offered the advertised position
