We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. We offer a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 20 hours worked over 4 days each week, including weekends.

Pay & Benefits

• Hours: 20 hours across 4 days per week
• Pay:
  • Ages : £10.95 per hour
  • Ages 21+: £12.81 per hour

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items that they are looking for.
• Give a fast and friendly service at the tills, always offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into our freezers and onto our shelves ready for customers to buy.
• Work with the rest of your team to complete the daily and weekly routines that keep our shops safe, clean and tidy.

Qualifications

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy and able to jump from putting out deliveries to serving on the till, helping customers on the shop floor, completing important cleaning and stock rotation routines.
• Reliable; an essential part of a small team, dependable and committed to doing your best on each shift.
• Flexible shift availability; able to cover for teammates with slightly different hours when needed. Rotations are planned three weeks in advance, taking external commitments into consideration.
