Restaurant Supervisor (Fixed term Monday - Friday)

Inner Temple

Contract • Front of House • 0 Hours per week •

Searcys are looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to join the team at the Inner Temple.

As the Restaurant Supervisor, you will ensure the effective management and efficient service of the catering operation within the restaurant from Monday to Friday.

The Honourable Society of The Inner Temple situated on the banks of the Thames, is one of the few remaining Georgian style event halls in the City of London. That teamed with its surroundings of a three-acres a stunning garden, it offers a unique backdrop to a wide variety of events

Hours: Monday to Friday only

Fixed 4 months contract beginning in Late April/Early May

Full time (40 hour)

Key Responsibilities:

  • To confidently lead and manage the team with a hands-on approach in the absence of the Bar and Restaurant Manager
  • To consistently monitor the practice of all SOPs and requirements across the Bar and Restaurant, including opening and closing schedules
  • Daily reporting and monitoring of revenue forecast versus actual sales
  • To liaise with Cellar Manager to ensure drinks stocks are always maintained and rotated
  • To assist with the coordination of internal and external stock audits
  • Ensuring all legislative and Government guidelines are adhered to
  • Assisting with the induction of new team members
  • Minimum of 1 year in a Supervisory role, working in a members' facility (desirable)
  • Personal Licence (desirable)
  • Level 2 Food Safety Certificate
  • Experience using at least one EPOS system for ordering and reconciliation
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Takes initiative and demonstrates high level of organisation
  • Supportive team player
