Job Description: Restaurant Supervisor Richmond Villages Cheltenham, Hatherley Lane, Gloucestershire, GL51 6PN £13.60 per hour - Paid breaks Permanent part time - 16 hours per week shifts will fall between 08:00 and 20:00, including weekends. (Applicants must be 18+ due to the requirement to serve alcohol.)

You'll help us make health happen by:- Supporting the day-to-day management of the hospitality team.
- Assisting with staff supervision, providing guidance and support to ensure high service standards are maintained.
- Taking accountability for creating and managing staff rotas, ensuring appropriate staffing levels are in place to meet business needs.
- Completing administration duties (approximately 50% of the role), including updating records, managing schedules, handling departmental paperwork, and supporting reporting requirements.
- Monitoring attendance, holiday requests, and shift cover arrangements.
- Supporting the Hospitality Manager with operational organisation and team performance.
- Setting up for business & serving at mealtimes.
- Serving drinks at the bar as required (only applicable to applicants over 18 years old).
- Ensuring that the restaurant and café & kitchen are tidy and meet all high standards.
- Setting up tables in the restaurant and café.
- Serving in the restaurant and café at mealtimes.
- Preparing trays and providing room service to village residents who wish to stay in their rooms for meals.
- Serving drinks at the bar as required (only applicable to applicants over 18 years old).
- Ensuring that the restaurant and café are tidy and meet all high standards.
- Keeping the kitchen area clean and tidy at all times.
You may also be asked to support other areas as required, such as serving meals to or removing trays from resident's rooms, restocking resident's personal kitchens or delivering refreshments to other locations in the village.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:You are a person who cares deeply for others and is driven to make a significant impact on people's lives. With your background in customer service, and potentially some experience in catering or kitchen roles-though not essential as training is provided-you excel in communication.
