Location: Bedford

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:15pm (1-hour lunch break)

Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Solicitor or Residential Property Fee Earner to join its expanding Residential Property Department based in its Bedford office.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for managing a full residential conveyancing caseload from initial instruction through to post-completion, including:

• Residential sales and purchases
• Remortgage transactions
• Equity release matters
• Transfer of equity transactions
• Matrimonial transfers
• Reviewing and checking freehold and leasehold titles
• Providing guidance, support and training to Conveyancing Assistants

About You

You will have:

• Qualified Solicitor status, CILEX qualification, Licensed Conveyancer status, or equivalent fee-earning experience within residential property
• Proven experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently
• Strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing procedures and processes
• Good understanding of freehold and leasehold transactions
• Excellent client care and communication skills
