Residential Property - Conveyancing Executive

  • Location: Sutton, Surrey
  • Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid Working Available
  • Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 (Depending on Experience)

Join a well-established, multi-office law firm known for its strong presence across the South East. This firm combines the quality of work often associated with larger regional practices with a supportive and collaborative culture. Due to continued growth within its Property department, an opportunity has arisen for a Residential Property Solicitor to join the firm's successful Sutton office. This role offers a strong referral network, an established client base, and flexible hybrid working arrangements.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
  • Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
  • Advising on remortgages and transfers of equity.
  • Dealing with new build and shared ownership transactions.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors to ensure transactions progress efficiently and proactively.
  • Developing and maintaining strong client and referrer relationships.
  • Supporting departmental growth and business development activities where appropriate.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer.
  • Previous experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently.
  • Strong technical knowledge of residential property transactions.
  • Excellent communication and client care skills.
  • Organised and proactive approach to managing workloads.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team.
