Job Description

Are you an experienced Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner, Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive looking to join a progressive, friendly, and expanding property team? We're supporting a well-established law firm in Essex that is continuing to grow its residential conveyancing offering. They are now seeking a confident fee earner to manage a varied caseload while being part of a supportive, down-to-earth team culture.

What you'll be doing

As a key Conveyancing Fee Earner, you will manage a busy and varied caseload of residential property matters, typically 25-30 new files per month, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • New build transactions
  • Transfers of equity
  • Managing files from instruction through to completion
  • Providing clear, practical advice to clients throughout the process
  • Building and maintaining strong client and referrer relationships
  • Supervising support staff where required
  • Ensuring compliance with internal procedures, billing, and time recording
  • Contributing to the continued growth and development of the conveyancing department

What we're looking for

You'll be a great fit if you have:

  • 3+ years' PQE as a Conveyancing Fee Earner, Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive
  • Strong experience handling a full residential conveyancing caseload
  • A proactive, positive approach and the confidence to work independently
  • Excellent communication and client-care skills
  • Strong IT skills and a willingness to support business development
  • Ambition to progress within a growing team
