The location of the role is Stevenage. The duration of the contract is 12 months. The pay rate on offer is £16 per hour (via PAYE - 37.5 hours per week).

Role Summary

The Research Technician - Method Development is responsible for delivering results in developing and evaluating next gen chromatography media. This position reports to the Manager, Analytical Methods, and is part of the Fibro R&D department located in Stevenage and will be an on site role.

Key Accountabilities of the Role

• Support the design, execution, and documentation of method optimisation experiments for analytical methods related to membrane chromatography products.
• Perform routine and non routine analytical testing, ensuring accurate and reliable data generation.
• Prepare clear, concise reports and maintain proper documentation of experimental results.
• Provide support to ensure laboratory compliance with Environment Health & Safety regulations.
• Collaborate with scientists to support development activities in monoclonal antibody purification workflows.

Key Skills and Experience

• Master's degree in a bioscience based subject.
• At least 1 year of experience using AKTA systems.
• Experience working in a regulated lab.

Desirable Experience

• Preparing presentations and written reports to support decision making in multifaceted projects.
• Working in cross disciplinary teams.
• Use of SEC HPLC or ProA HPLC.
• Familiarity with Analytical Method Development.
