SalaryResearch Assistant: Grade R1, £36,640-£38,638 per annum inclusive of London Weighting; potential to progress to £39,682.
Research Fellow: Grade R1, £40,757-£44,179 per annum inclusive of London Weighting; potential to progress to £47,921.
Hours & ContractPart time, 17.5 hours per week; Fixed term for 24 months.
Responsibilities- Support the development and deployment of industrial thermal management solutions.
- Conduct practical investigations and performance assessments of real world systems.
- Advance modelling and simulation activities for the Enhancement Project.
- Contribute to technical interpretation of results to inform industrial implementation and decision making.
- Prepare technical deliverables, research reports, and milestone documentation for the European Commission.
- Collaborate with internal academic teams and European partners to deliver high standard simulation work packages.
- Ensure alignment of simulation focused work packages with scientific objectives.
- Support the integration of modelling outputs into reporting and dissemination.
- Experience in simulation based research, particularly in multiphysics modelling.
- Strong interest in applied engineering and computational science.
- Detail oriented researcher with ability to develop and support methodological advancements.
- Experience collaborating with international research consortia is advantageous.
