Thus, the department's mission is to effectively screen and treat increasingly frequent and multifaceted disorders, respecting patients and their relatives. Organized into 5 services, the department offers a very broad and diversified range of care including hospital care, multidisciplinary approaches based on different modalities and intensities, organized according to the principles of community care, as well as specialized programs and units. High-quality integrated clinical training is ensured by the department for physicians by raising awareness of psychological, biological, and social dimensions. The department also provides structured theoretical training in the 3 main models of psychotherapy as well as individual and group supervision included in the curriculum. The department also offers active support for research pathways linked to a high-quality clinical and research hub. The service provides psychosocial and psychotherapeutic treatments to the elderly in the canton of Geneva within a public service mission. The service contributes to the prevention of mental illnesses and the psychosocial consequences of disorders through various interventions. As a substitute Chief or Chief of Clinic at 80%, within an interdisciplinary mobile team, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of a care unit and guarantee the quality of care. Thus, you will ensure the monitoring and psychotherapeutic support of patients living at home and the supervision of physicians. You will participate in on-call duties and be part of the management team. A career plan will be established in partnership with you, which allows you to choose one or several areas of focus for further specialization in the following areas: Clinical: You will have the opportunity to deepen your clinical skills across all areas of the department with advancements recognized by the FMH. You will also have access to additional certified training, offered both internally and externally. Research: The position offers the opportunity to develop a research activity within a dedicated group, with guidance provided by the department's research office. Specific work time can also be allocated for research.Teaching: You will actively participate in pre-graduate and post-graduate education as an instructor, supervise master's projects, and benefit from pedagogical training to enhance your teaching skills.Management: You will have the chance to develop your managerial skills through access to certified training, offered both internally and externally.You must hold a medical degree recognized as equivalent by the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO) and have a title in psychology and psychotherapy FMH X or an advanced post-graduate degree in psychology and psychotherapy (clinical experience of 4 years in the field of psychology and a minimum of 1 year in medicine). For non-French speakers, a C1 level in French in both spoken and written forms is required.
