Job Title: Remote Data Scientist ( 100% Work From Home) Location: Remote from Latin America Position Type: Full-time Salary:$2,500 - 3,000 USD/month depending on experience paid via Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Pacific Time with 12:00pm - 1:00pm lunch Our Client: Our client is a leading real estate private equity firm specializing in acquiring, managing, and developing high-value real estate assets. With a track record of delivering superior returns, they pride themselves on cultivating strong investor relationships and fostering a culture of integrity and excellence. They use proprietary technology to increase the speed, accuracy and transparency of commercial grade real estate investments with various stakeholders! They consider they are best in the world at creating insights from unstructured data. Currently their project pipeline includes industrial assets in self-storage and light industrial. They have also been working remote workers for close to 20 years.
Job Overview: We are seeking a Data Scientist with strong technical expertise in APIs, ETL workflows, SQL, and AI agents to join our growing team. The ideal candidatethrives at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and applied AI - helpingus transform raw data into actionable insights. Responsibilities: Data Integration & Engineering
  • Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from multiple internal and external sources.
  • Integrate data from real estate, finance, marketing, and operational platforms via APIs.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across all systems.
Data Analysis & Modeling
  • Use statistical, machine learning, and AI techniques to analyze trends, forecast performance, and identify investment opportunities.
  • Develop predictive models to support asset management, development forecasting, and operational optimization.
  • Create dynamic dashboards and reports for leadership and stakeholders using tools such as Domo, Power BI, or Tableau.
AI & Automation
  • Design, train, and deploy AI agents for business workflows, including property analysis, scheduling, and customer interactions.
  • Automate routine data collection and processing tasks to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to embed AI solutions into core business processes.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Work closely with operations, finance, acquisitions, and marketing teams to identify and prioritize data initiatives.
  • Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Document processes, data structures, and analytical methods for internal knowledge sharing.

Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies:

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, Data Engineer, or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
  • Hands-on experience building ETL pipelines (e.g., Apache Airflow, dbt,Talend, custom scripts).
  • Expertise in working with APIs for data extraction and integration.
  • Proficiency in Python (preferred) or R for data manipulation, modeling, and automation.
  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, LangChain).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in real estate, investment, or related industries.
  • Familiarity with data visualization platforms (Domo, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience deploying AI agents or workflow automation tools.
  • Understanding of geospatial data and mapping APIs.
