With a dedicated focus on BEMS systems, they are keen on adding a Remote Commissioning Engineer to their growing team. Role OverviewThe Remote Commissioning Engineer will be an essential link between the installation teams on the ground and the inner workings of the office. You'll be responsible for performing remote functional and diagnostic tests, resolving system issues, and providing guidance to installers throughout all project phases. A focus on customer satisfaction and smooth project delivery will be at the heart of your role.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake remote commissioning and successful deployment of BEMS systems.
- Act as the primary contact for on site installation teams.
- Maintain consistent communication with installation sites and generate completion certificates.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve BEMS related problems.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to rectify issues.
- Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues and design strategies to prevent future occurrences.
- Provide technical advice and solutions to installation engineers.
- Adhere to health and safety standards while performing job functions.
- Basic understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to guide the installation team effectively.
- Experience in technical support roles within IoT, BMS, or EMS sectors (preferred).
- Familiarity with software and hardware related to energy management and control systems (preferred).
- Experience with Niagara Tridium, Distech, or similar BMS platforms and network protocols (preferred).
- Qualifications in IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in relevant BMS platforms or network infrastructure is a plus.
- £40,000 - £55,000 base, depending on experience and qualifications.
