About the role

We are urgently looking for a focused and motivated Religious Education Teacher to join a high performing secondary school with a dedicated team. The successful Religious Education Teacher will have a genuine passion for their subject, a commitment to developing this in pupils, and the ability to lead learners to achieve far beyond their own expectations. The role would suit a reflective and ambitious practitioner who is keen to advance their own teaching practice, share ideas with colleagues and contribute more widely to the extra-curricular life of the school.

To be considered for this role, you will:

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Have a degree in Religious Education, Theology, Philosophy, or a closely related subject
• Demonstrate excellent Religious Education subject knowledge and confident classroom practice across KS3, KS4, and KS5
• Be passionate about supporting pupils to achieve high academic standards
• Show a willingness to contribute to the wider school community and extra-curriculars
• Hold UK Right to Work
