Relief Security Officer - DWP Contract (Merseyside)

Locations: Liverpool, Southport, Wirral & surrounding areas
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Shifts: Day shifts, typically Monday-Saturday, with occasional Sunday work

Mitie is recruiting Relief Security Officers to support the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) contract across Merseyside. This is a great opportunity to join a large, established organisation.

As a Relief Officer, you will cover for full time colleagues during holidays, sickness, and last-minute absences, so weekly hours will vary depending on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol sites and control access
• Respond to incidents and emergencies
• Liaise with emergency services when required
• Provide excellent customer service
• Complete incident reports and follow security procedures

What We're Looking For

• Valid SIA DS licence
• Previous security experience
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle or availability to cover all the locations by public transport
• Flexible availability for day shifts
