Relief Cleaner

Vertas is looking for a dedicated Relief Cleaner to join our Facilities Team.

Based in the Belper area, this position is offered on a zero hours contract, working on an ad hoc basis to support business needs.

You'll play a key role in maintaining high cleaning standards, ensuring sites are clean, safe, and welcoming - consistently meeting both our expectations and those of our customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning toilets and washrooms
• Wiping down tables and surfaces
• General cleaning duties across classrooms and communal areas
• Hoovering and mopping floors
• Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained

Who are we looking for?

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Enhanced DBS check is required - if you do not currently hold one, you must be willing to obtain it
• Great communication skills and experience in a similar cleaning setting
• A team player providing an excellent service across the Vertas Group
• The ability to make the best decisions with Vertas in mind
• The ability to adapt and respond to change in a growing organisation
