Rehab Specialist

Rehabilitation Specialist - Wandsworth Southside FWC (Fitness) - Permanent - Part time (15 hours/week). Salary up to £28,973 pro rata, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Organise and run rolling 12 week rehabilitation programmes.
• Facilitate and deliver live stream and in person group exercise classes to participants with varying levels of ability.
• Promote self directed activity through pre recorded on demand classes and a participant journal.
• Re calibrate exercises and intensities based on regular progress.
• Identify any deterioration of participants and, where necessary, follow internal escalation processes, ensuring reporting within the required timeframe and accurate outcome data capture.
• Engage in weekly 1 to 1 telephone conversations with every participant to coach in goal setting, monitor progress, address restrictions, provide emotional wellbeing support and empower self directed activity.

Qualifications

• Level3 Personal Trainer qualification (essential).
• Excellent IT skills.
• Previous experience in a rehabilitation specialist role (desired).
• Knowledge of rehabilitation and, ideally, a BSc (Hons) in Sports Rehabilitation (desired).
• Experience working with vulnerable adults (desired).
