Job Description

This is an excellent career opportunity for a regulatory toxicologist looking to advance their career with a global sustainability leader, and to make a significant impact in successfully implementing my client's global strategy. You will work with a very strong team consisted of experts in the field of regulatory, toxicology, exposure and risk assessment across all disciplines alongside wider European and Global teams.

Role responsibilities
  • Provide a high quality consultancy service in toxicology risk assessment to clients and to other members of the team to meet regulatory and business needs:
  • Understand clients' desired outcomes and work collaboratively to ensure deliverables meet quality standards
  • Work closely with clients and respond to specific questions on toxicology
  • Contribute to the commercial growth of the business through supporting senior colleagues in the wider business development activities such as client visits, conferences, and expert groups relevant to expert area, as appropriate
  • Undertake evaluation and summarisation of toxicology data, toxicolological risk assessments and toxicology study monitoring
  • Ensure awareness of the latest developments in all areas of toxicology and toxicological risk assessment
  • Work closely with other technical experts to maintain awareness of projects and general issues
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time and to budget and that goals are aligned to desired project results
  • Develop expertise in new EU regulatory developments according to the requirements of the business
  • Undertake other scientific and administrative tasks on occasion, where this benefits the business as a whole
Skills & experience requirements
  • Educated to at least degree level within Biology, Toxicology or a related field
  • Proven experience in conducting toxicological risk assessments
  • Working knowledge of relevant EU regulations and guidelines, including EU data requirements for toxicology studies
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment and across disciplines
  • Experienced in the preparation and support of dossiers using appropriate software
  • Strong commitment to delivering high quality work that exceeds clients' expectations
  • Strong commitment to safety, including following established Health and Safety protocols
  • Excellent communicator (written/verbal) with the ability to listen, organise and prioritise
  • Proficiency in tox statistical analysis software is preferable
  • Previous experience of working in a contract research organisation (CRO) is desirable but not essential
  • Experience in non EU regulatory requirements (Lat. Am, North America, APAC) would be considered an asset
  • Excellent inter personal skills
