Registered Mental Health Nurse (CAMHS) - Oxfordshire

Pay Rate: £35-£40 per hour
Shifts Available: Days and Nights

Health Now is seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with CAMHS experience to join our Bank team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading shifts within a 3:1 care package supporting a CAMHS service user.

The service user presents with:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Challenging behaviours
  • Previous trauma

This is a rewarding opportunity for a confident and skilled RMN who is experienced in managing complex needs and can provide safe, therapeutic, and trauma-informed care.

Main duties of the job
  • Lead shifts within a 3:1 staffing model
  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care
  • Implement and follow Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans
  • Safely manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours
  • Support emotional regulation and therapeutic engagement
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Uphold safeguarding, professional standards, and duty of care
Essential Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with valid NMC registration
  • Significant CAMHS experience
  • Experience supporting service users with ASD and trauma backgrounds
  • Restraint trained
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work days and/or nights
