Registered Home Manager - Children's Residential Care

Location: Guildford

Commutable from Southwest London, West Sussex.

Salary: £50,698 - £60,865 per annum (based on 37 hours/week) Performance Bonuses

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Our client, a specialist provider of solo-occupancy children's residential care, is seeking a Registered Home Manager for an established home in Surrey.

This is a unique opportunity to lead a small, high-support home focused on safety, healing, and hope.

The Role

Lead the day-to-day running of a children's home, ensuring safeguarding, quality care, and regulatory compliance.

Guide and develop your team - including a Senior Support Worker per shift - to deliver trauma-informed, person-centred support.

Liaise with local authorities, IROs, therapists, and education services to provide truly holistic care.

Oversee Ofsted registration or quality improvement plans post-inspection

What We're Looking For

2 years' experience as a Deputy Manager in a children's residential care setting

NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or willingness to complete it)

Strong grasp of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding practices

Experience managing challenging behaviours and complex needs

Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle essential

Empathy, resilience, and excellent leadership qualities

Salary up to £60,865 per annum
