Job Description:

This position plays a pivotal role in accelerating our enterprise capability on trade promotions as part of the regional sales strategy. The role focuses on driving data-driven decision-making and enhancing trade promotion strategies by defining regional trade promotional strategies in collaboration with regional cell teams. The aim is to excel at fundamental practices and advance towards leading-edge insights within our promotional investment strategy. A key responsibility involves working closely with clusters to implement these strategies and optimize the impact of promotional investments to balance profitability and growth.

What are we looking for?

An individual eager to broaden their perspective through a regional role, developing expertise in SRM/RGM and partnering to drive capability enhancements. Must possess strong financial acumen and an understanding of customer investment strategies. Specific requirements include:

  • Experience in analytics and modeling to generate fact-based recommendations and convert insights into action plans. Required
  • Understanding of market mechanisms affecting promotional impact on profitability, revenue, and sales volume. Required
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to work cross-functionally and provide strategic insights. Required
  • Nice to have: RGM experience with promotional strategies and investment decisions
  • Nice to have: Perspective on multiple markets' customer investment strategies
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with regional promotional director, marketing, sales, and finance teams to refine strategies and ensure alignment with objectives.
  • Develop regional promotional guidelines by channel and investment area with regional sales and cluster teams.
  • Partner with cluster RGM and sales teams to translate regional guidelines into cluster-specific strategies and define ROI roadmaps.
  • Analyze trade promotion performance to identify optimization opportunities and develop frameworks to assess ROI.
  • Integrate promotional investment strategies into target pricing in partnership with the regional channel pricing director.
  • Maintain and own the regional promotional insights database.
