Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Security Officer to join our team covering Stockport, Buxton, Halifax and surrounding areas.

The purpose of the role is to provide an efficient and professional security service to Samsic UK Security's clients, demonstrating the highest levels of customer service whilst presenting a smart, alert, visible and commanding security presence at all times.

Flexibility is vital as you will be required to work days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Compensation and Schedule
  • Pay Rate: £13.39 per hour + £0.40 per mile travel allowance
  • Average weekly hours: hours per week
  • Contracted hours: 48 hours per week
  • Employee status: Permanent / Full time
Duties
  • "Meet and Greet" duties covering all client sites.
  • Answer all enquiries courteously and professionally.
  • Manage all systems within the security control base.
  • Maintain a vigilant, professional presence.
  • Produce accurate reports as required.
  • Act as an effective liaison between the client and the company Contract Manager.
  • Act as an ambassador for Samsic UK Security and the client.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills, pleasant manner, approachability, and clear pronunciation.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer care skills.
  • Possess good knowledge of health & safety.
  • Possess computer literacy at least a basic level.
  • Demonstrate basic numeracy and literacy skills for following instructions and preparing reports.
  • Demonstrate good observation skills.
  • Demonstrate a flexible attitude to changing working hours and patterns.
Required Qualifications
  • Current SIA Licence - Door Supervisor or Security Guarding.
  • Unrestricted right to work full time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Five year checkable history (provide HMRC 3 year work history record at your interview).
