Job Description
Reporting Officer for Signal Management Job Description As a reporting officer for signal management, you will ensure the functioning of signal management and manage the reports addressed to the General Directorate of Health concerning healthcare professionals, healthcare facilities, and the activities (professional aspects) of those responsible for managing reports. Proceed with the processing and analysis of reports received within the unit (researching relevant bodies, consulting legal and scientific databases, establishing decisions and outcomes, requesting expertise, organizing hearings, and redirecting cases that require direct processing by the relevant bodies). Issue advisories and proposals for particularly complex cases and establish draft decisions, assess risks, and report critical signals to the relevant managers of the General Directorate of Health and to the head of the department. Participate in the development of legal bases governing the processing of reports. Participate in activities promoting the rights of (seminars, in the framework of newly authorized physicians in the canton related to signal management). A Master's degree and/or a University of Applied Sciences (HES) in the field of health, ideally supplemented by training in public health and/or health law. Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of health and/or quality and safety of care and/or health law. Knowledge of the functioning of public health as well as the Swiss healthcare system. Ability to work and negotiate with multiple partners. Analytical and synthesis skills, conflict management. Capacity for flexibility and very good time management. Team spirit and good listening skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills in French, good knowledge of German and English (oral and written).
