Medior HR Consultant - Recruitment
Region: Leuven, Mechelen, Brussels + Flexibility across Flanders
Start: ASAP Freelance or Contract Languages: Dutch (C2) & French (C2)
The Role
We are looking for a Medior HR Consultant with strong experience in Recruitment & Selection to support our client's recruitment needs across multiple regions in Flanders. You will be a key partner to internal hiring managers and take end-to-end ownership of the recruitment process.
️ Your Responsibilities
- Conduct intake meetings with internal stakeholders to understand job needs and define recruitment strategy.
- Draft attractive and accurate job descriptions.
- Source, screen, and shortlist candidates; provide qualitative recommendations to hiring managers.
- Use competency-based interviews to assess candidates and make data-driven hiring decisions.
- Provide coaching to hiring managers on interviewing techniques and recruitment best practices.
- Collaborate on hunting strategies for hard-to-fill roles.
- Deliver constructive feedback to internal candidates not selected.
- Participate in job fairs and recruitment events.
- Support the offer process, including salary proposals for both white-collar and management roles.
- Ensure accurate administrative follow-up throughout the recruitment process.
Your Context
You will be working in a large, dynamic organization (5000+ employees) undergoing significant transformation within the context of the energy and climate transition. This requires agility, autonomy, and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Your Profile
- ️ Minimum 3 years of proven experience in Recruitment & Selection.
- ️ Experience recruiting white-collar and/or management profiles.
- ️ Skilled in writing professional selection reports.
- ️ Strong interpersonal and coaching skills with hiring managers.
- ️ Fluent in Dutch (C2) and French (C2).
- ️ Comfortable traveling across different regions in Flanders (e.g. Ieper, Hasselt).
- ️ Experience with SuccessFactors is a plus.
- ️ Background in the energy sector is a bonus.
- ️ Experience working in a large, complex organization (>3000 employees).
