Experienced Recruitment Consultant Warm Desk Optical & Audiology Inspired Recruitment Group

We're now looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our close-knit team, taking ownership of a warm desk with live vacancies, established clients, and active candidates.

This is an opportunity for a consultant who enjoys delivering results but also values support, autonomy, and working within a business that genuinely invests in its people.

The Opportunity

You'll primarily manage a well established Optical recruitment desk, working with independent practices as well as larger groups across your region. Alongside this, you'll have the chance to help grow our Audiology division, a fast expanding sector closely aligned with optics and already embedded within many of our client base.

From day one, you'll work closely with a highly experienced manager who has been with the business for over 10 years. They lead by example, have consistently billed at a high level, and now focus their experience within the company to provide hands on support without micromanagement. You'll receive ongoing guidance, training, and development to help you maximise your desk and exceed your personal goals.

The Role - 360 Recruitment

As a Recruitment Consultant, you'll have full ownership of your desk, including:

• Managing and developing long standing client relationships across your region
• Working live vacancies from entry level through to senior professional roles
• Proactively sourcing and engaging high quality candidates using a range of methods
• Building trusted relationships with candidates, fully understanding their experience, motivations, and career goals
• Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from initial brief through to successful placement

This role suits someone adaptable in their approach, confident managing multiple vacancies, and comfortable working consultatively rather than transactionally.

• Proven recruitment experience with strong billing or performance history
• Confident relationship builder with clients and candidates alike
• Self motivated, accountable, and driven to succeed
• Able to think creatively and use initiative to solve recruitment challenges
• Comfortable following a process and using a CRM effectively
• Resilient, professional, and motivated by long term success rather than short term wins

What's in It for You?

• Competitive basic salary: £28,000 - £32,000 (DOE)
• Uncapped, market leading commission
• Realistic OTE: £50,000 - £70,000

• Working hours:
  • Mon-Thurs: 08:30 - 17:00
  • Friday: 08:30 - 15:00
