My client is an established specialist recruitment business providing temporary and permanent recruitment solutions across the Construction, Engineering, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas and Energy sectors.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Recruitment Consultant to join an established Trades & Labour team, with a particular focus on supplying personnel across the Commercial Construction and Civil Engineering sectors.
This is a genuine soft-landing opportunity for a recruiter looking to develop an existing market rather than starting completely from scratch.
You'll have access to a database of legacy clients to develop, more than 150,000 registered candidates, advertising across the major job boards and the recruitment tools and support needed to build a successful desk.
The RoleWorking as part of an experienced recruitment team, you'll be responsible for developing relationships with existing and prospective clients, identifying new business opportunities and managing the recruitment process from vacancy through to placement.
You'll source and manage Trades & Labour candidates, maintain relationships with clients and workers, and develop your desk through a combination of existing opportunities and new business development.
Applications are welcomed from recruiters with 6+ months' recruitment experience. Previous Construction, Trades & Labour or Civil Engineering recruitment experience would be advantageous, although recruiters from other temporary recruitment sectors will also be considered.
Salary & BenefitsThe successful Recruitment Consultant can expect a basic salary of up to £40,000 depending on experience, together with an excellent monthly commission scheme with no threshold.
Benefits also include regular performance-based salary reviews, 25 days' holiday rising to 28 days with length of service, an additional half-day holiday for your birthday, company pension, company mobile phone, regular incentives and company rewards, and a 3:30pm finish every Friday.
You'll be based in modern offices with breakout areas and a canteen. The office is within a short walk of the railway station and free parking is available for those who drive.
This vacancy is for a permanent, full-time role based in the UK. Applicants must have independent legal authorisation to live and work in the UK.
