About the Role

We are looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our Social Care Team based in our London or Liverpool office. As a Recruitment Consultant, you are the vital link between local authorities, councils, private and voluntary sector providers and candidates, with ownership of business development, client relationships, and revenue growth.

This role is suited to an experienced, commercially driven recruiter with a proven billing background who is motivated by winning new business, growing accounts, and maximising desk performance. The role is fast paced, target driven, and highly rewarding.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Sourcing, interviewing, and recruiting social care professionals for placement with local authorities, councils, and private care providers.
  • Proactive new business development, including identifying, targeting, and winning new clients within NHS and Private Sector.
  • Managing and expanding existing client accounts by identifying new service areas and staffing opportunities.
  • Building strong relationships with candidates to ensure collaborative working and prompt placements.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients, taking ownership of vacancies, service delivery, issues, and escalations.
  • Establishing effective partnerships with commissioners, service managers, and procurement teams to ensure consistent staffing provision.
  • Developing relationships with internal stakeholders including Compliance, IT, Accounts, Payroll, and Business Development.
  • Maintaining and growing your own pool of workers through regular communication and market engagement.
  • Networking within the social care sector to generate leads that convert into commercial opportunities.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
  • Knowledge and experience within the Healthcare Recruitment.
  • Proven sales and business development background with a strong billing track record.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a target-driven environment.
  • Ability to meet and exceed deadlines and revenue targets.
  • Ambitious, resilient, and commercially focused.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Teamworking and mentoring skills.
  • IT proficient with MS Office and CRM systems.
