Location: Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
Pay: Circa £14.26 per hour (£27,449 FTE equivalent)
Hours: Part-time, 30 hours per week
Contract: Temporary agency assignment, expected until the end of March 2027
Working pattern: Hybrid - a mixture of office and home working
Interviews: Ideally Friday 25th September
Ambitions Personnel are recruiting for a Recruitment & People Coordinator to join a busy team in Huntingdon.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys working with people, coordinating processes and ensuring everything runs smoothly. You'll support recruitment, onboarding and wider people activities, working with candidates, hiring managers and colleagues to deliver a professional and efficient service.
About the RoleAs Recruitment & People Coordinator, you'll be responsible for a varied range of administrative and coordination duties, including:
- Arranging interviews, meetings, assessment events and recruitment activities.
- Supporting candidates and hiring managers by phone and email.
- Managing diaries and coordinating appointments.
- Maintaining accurate recruitment records, spreadsheets and data.
- Producing reports and supporting onboarding activities.
- Organising events, workshops and assessment centres.
- Creating and maintaining process documentation and guidance.
- Supporting the wider People and Recruitment teams.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and working practices.
The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident communication and customer service skills.
- Strong IT skills, particularly Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word and SharePoint.
- Experience working with data, reports and spreadsheets.
- The ability to work independently and manage changing priorities.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Experience in recruitment administration or coordination would be beneficial, but is not essential.
Experience organising events, workshops or assessment centres would also be advantageous.
