As a Recruitment Administrator within the Human Resources Department, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of an efficient and responsive recruitment service, with a particular focus on temporary staffing through Unitemps. Acting as a first point of contact for candidates and hiring managers, you will provide high quality administrative support across a range of recruitment activities, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience for all stakeholders. This includes managing enquiries, supporting candidate registration, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is obtained in advance of advertising roles and progressing appointments.
Working from home and campus, you will process high volumes of work to tight deadlines, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail at all times. You will also support compliance processes by obtaining and recording statutory documentation, including right to work checks and references, and contribute to the effective running of payroll, audits and reporting activities. As part of our inclusive and collaborative community, you will engage with colleagues across the University and support key institutional activities when required, demonstrating flexibility and a strong commitment to excellent customer service.
About youYou will bring proven experience of working in a busy customer focused environment and will be confident communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including students, applicants and colleagues across the University. With strong organisational skills, you will be able to manage your own workload effectively, prioritising tasks and maintaining accuracy while working under pressure. You will also have good IT skills, including competence in Microsoft Office, and the ability to produce clear written communications and reports.
