Job Description

Recruiter - 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract

Hybrid working - 3 days per week onsite

We are working with an established organisation to recruit an experienced Recruiter / Talent Acquisition professional to join their in-house recruitment team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is a fast-paced role focused on delivering high-volume recruitment across manufacturing and operational functions, working closely with hiring managers to attract and secure high-quality talent. You will manage multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously and play a key role in ensuring an excellent candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage high-volume recruitment campaigns across manufacturing and operational functions
  • Deliver the full recruitment process from advertising and sourcing through to offer and onboarding
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies
  • Source, attract and assess candidates using a range of recruitment channels and direct sourcing techniques
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future recruitment needs
  • Coordinate interviews, assessments and selection processes
  • Provide a professional and positive candidate experience through timely communication
  • Manage vacancies, candidate records and recruitment reporting using Workday
  • Monitor recruitment performance and provide insights to improve hiring outcomes and process efficiency
  • Ensure recruitment activity meets relevant legislation, policies and compliance requirements
  • Support recruitment projects and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

  • Proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition (in house experience is essential)
  • Significant experience of high-volume recruitment, ideally within manufacturing, production, engineering or another industrial environment
  • Experience managing multiple recruitment campaigns and working to challenging targets
  • Strong candidate sourcing and attraction skills
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers
  • Good knowledge of recruitment best practice, employment legislation and compliance
  • Experience using Workday recruitment technology is advantageous
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised, resilient and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Happy to travel between two sites (an hour apart)
