Recovery Worker - VIA contract opportunity lasting 2 weeks. We are seeking a dedicated Recovery Worker - VIA to support individuals through substance misuse recovery. This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team committed to helping clients achieve positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Providing support and guidance to individuals battling substance misuse issues
• Developing personalized recovery plans in collaboration with clients
• Monitoring client progress and adjusting support strategies accordingly
• Recording detailed case notes and maintaining accurate documentation
• Assisting clients with access to community resources and services
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote client recovery and well-being

Required Skills

• Experience in substance misuse interventions (essential)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in substance misuse support
