Overview

Position: Records & Retention Officer

Salary: Up to £58,000 per annum depending on experience.

Division: Digital Transformation

Location: Hybrid - Reading UK

Description

As a Records & Retention Officer you will be responsible for overseeing the management, organization, and compliance of electronic and paper-based records. You will help develop retention policies, ensure adherence to data regulations, and educate staff on effective records management.

What you'll be doing as a Records & Retention Officer
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements, including OFWAT, Freedom of Information, and the Data Protection Act (GDPR).
  • Oversee the management of electronic and paper-based records at Thames Water, ensuring compliance with agreed data retention standards.
  • Develop new records management standards.
  • Educate staff on effective records management.
  • Establish and manage the clients record management system.

Base Location: Reading - Hybrid.

Working Pattern: 36 Hours.
