Recognition and Reward Performance Manager AWE is currently recruiting for a Recognition and Reward Performance Manager responsible for managing programmes that enhance employee performance and recognise their achievements. Working pattern: AWE operates a 9-day working fortnight. We will consider flexible working requests so that your work may fit in with your lifestyle. Just let us know your preferred working pattern on your application.As the Recognition and Reward Performance Manager, your role will involve creating strategies to motivate employees, improving productivity, and fostering a culture of appreciation within the organisation. You will also task manage supporting reward professionals, along with: Act as a subject matter expert on performance management and recognition, designing and overseeing fair, effective programmes that align with reward practices and company culture. Provide training and support to managers, manage external providers, and lead communication strategies to raise awareness and engagement. Regularly assess programme effectiveness, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and recommend improvements based on data and feedback.We're looking for a skilled professional to lead and manage our performance and recognition programmes, with experience advising on strategy and supporting Trade Union discussions. Ideally, you will have previously managed audits, guided reward colleagues, and line managed team members to ensure high-quality delivery. A minimum of 5 years' experience in performance management, reward or a related field is preferred, but not essential. We do need you to have the following: CIPD or equivalent HR Qualification, or relevant experience. Whilst not to be considered a tick list, we'd like you to have experience in some of the following: Managing performance management processes and employee recognition. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organisation. Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Strong organisational and coordination skills. High level of integrity and confidentiality.You'll need to have the ability to work calmly and constructively in a priority changing environment and be able to manage your own workload.
