Job summary
We are looking for an experienced Receptionist to provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors either in person or via the telephone.
Main duties of the job
Receive, assist, and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient, and effective way.
- Ensure an effective and efficient reception service is provided to patients and any other visitors to the practice.
- Greeting patients politely and ensuring the appointment system is run efficiently, monitor the flow of patients to and from consulting rooms, managing queues through telephone and face to face interaction.
- Deal with all general enquiries, explain procedures and make new and follow up appointments.

We are a professional, very friendly, and supportive teaching Practice with a team of 5 GP Partners, 2 Salaried GP's, 1 Nurse Practitioner, 3 Practice Nurses, and 1 HCA. We also have GP Registrars and F2 Doctors on rotation.
