TeacherActive is delighted to be working with a welcoming 2-form entry primary school in Greenwich that is looking for a truly passionate and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join their team from September.
This is an exciting opportunity for a shining star who loves Early Years, believes in the potential of every child and can create a classroom full of curiosity, creativity and confidence.
The school is looking for someone who will bring energy, warmth and enthusiasm to their Reception classroom. Someone who understands that the early years are about so much more than learning - they are about building confidence, nurturing independence and helping children discover the world around them.
There are some SEMH needs within the classroom, so experience supporting children with social, emotional and mental health needs would be highly beneficial. Most importantly, we are looking for someone patient, nurturing and passionate about making a real difference.
The ideal Reception Teacher will have:- QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
- A genuine passion for Early Years and child development
- Previous Reception or EYFS experience (preferred)
- Experience supporting children with SEMH needs (desirable)
- A creative, enthusiastic and nurturing approach
- The ability to inspire, engage and motivate young learners
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
While experience is preferred, the school is looking for someone with the passion, enthusiasm and drive to make their mark.
