Job Description

Reception / Host

Temporary contract up to 12 months.


The purpose of this role:

As the first point of contact for clients, you will play a key role in creating an exceptional customer experience to ensure all guests receive professional, refined and elegant care in all interactions as well as in the presentation and service of food and beverages. This role requires an enthusiastic, motivated and service driven professional, willing to create an outstanding experience to the customer. Ensure that the Company's standard of service is met and adhered to at all times.


Main Duties:

Customer Greeting and Concierge Service

Warmly welcome all customers upon arrival, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.

Understanding the needs of the client and gracefully guide clients to the appropriate departments based on their needs.

Maintain a luxurious and welcoming atmosphere in the showroom, upholding the company's high standards of customer care.

Offer, preparation and service of tea, coffee, and cold refreshments.

Assist the Sales consultants during the customer appointments

To ensure all requests are dealt with in a secure and timely fashion

Maintaining food and drink preparation areas, back office areas

Maintaining sales and customer service client areas

Monitor and replenish stock

Help with product displays and ensure the showroom is presentable and stocked with high-quality materials.

Communicating with all levels of staff and management

To work closely with the team to establish and resolve problems

Using all Microsoft packages including Word, Excel & Outlook. SAP, Sage & Sell-out systems

Run errands and take on any request to ensure the store is running efficiently

To keep the store tidy at all times

Criteria:

Exceptional communication skills, both written & verbal, and a confident telephone manner

Significant experience in hospitality roles.

Ability to speak effectively with internal staff, external customers and suppliers

Have an enthusiastic and positive personality and effectively manage your time and productivity whilst at work

Ability to work as a self-motivated individual as well as part of a team

Proven organisational skills. Able to set and meet deadlines

Used to working in a very fast paced environment and can manage in pressured situations

Keeping a high standard of appearance and personal hygiene

Good attention to detail

Have full knowledge of products, to be able to explain and recommend purchases.

  • Full training will be given for product knowledge

Experience in the Luxury Retail Industry is desirable but not essential

Proven & exceptional customer service skills

Must hold a valid passport and complete a security DBS check
