About the Firm

BCL Legal is delighted to partner with one of Ireland's leading corporate law firms to recruit a Real Estate Senior Associate. Renowned for its progressive culture, this firm has been consistently recognised by the Financial Times as one of the most innovative law firms in Ireland, blending premium legal advice with forward-thinking business solutions.

The firm's Real Estate department is the engine behind some of the largest, most complex property transactions in the country. What truly sets them apart is their collaborative structure, you won't be siloed into narrow practice sub sets. Instead, you will work across an enviable, diverse mix of international private equity funds, institutional investors, major developers, and premier retail/leisure brands on everything from landmark forward fund developments to high stakes landlord and tenant mandates.

The Role

Stepping into a team known for high quality, high stakes work, you will take a leading role on major commercial property transactions. This position is designed for an ambitious Senior Associate looking for genuine career progression, high autonomy, and direct client visibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising on high-value acquisitions, disposals, and complex financing structures for commercial property portfolios.
  • Acting on behalf of premier international and domestic clients in large-scale residential and commercial development projects.
  • Drafting, negotiating, and restructuring sophisticated commercial leases and joint venture agreements.
  • Providing strategic, commercial legal counsel to institutional landlords, major corporate tenants, and financial providers.
  • Mentoring junior team members and contributing actively to the firm's innovative business development initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate
  • 4 to 7 years' PQE within a well-regarded commercial real estate department (top-tier or mid-tier Irish/UK firm).
  • Broad exposure to commercial property acquisitions, development work, and landlord & tenant law.
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to offer decisive, practical advice under tight timelines.
  • Keen to work in a fast-paced environment that prioritises a supportive, team-focused culture without the traditional rigid hierarchies.
Why Apply?

This firm is moving away from the "cog in a wheel" approach to big law legal practices. You will gain exposure to premium, market-shaping transactions while benefiting from a clear path toward partnership, top of market compensation, and a dynamic hybrid working model in a firm that genuinely champions innovation.
