Job Description

The Gaming Analyst plays a key role supporting stakeholders across the business by providing insights that contribute to our commercial success. They work with Reporting Analysts to enhance the Insight & Analytics team's reporting capabilities.

1. Provide analytical support and insights to enable impactful decision-making for the Gaming function and the wider business, facilitating data-driven choices.
2. Interpret data to draw actionable findings and communicate them clearly to senior stakeholders, focusing on analysis over raw data.
3. Collaborate with the Senior Gaming Analyst and Head of Gaming Analytics to develop and implement consistent analytical metrics for complex business issues.
4. Lead analytical projects to completion and embed findings within the organization.
5. Monitor key metrics proactively, identify unusual performance, and highlight potential risks and opportunities.
6. Ensure alignment with the Gaming function through close collaboration.
7. Build relationships with business leaders, promoting the capabilities of the Gaming Analytics team and maintaining visibility.
8. Work collaboratively with other analysts within the team.
9. Represent the Gaming Analytics team in cross-functional meetings and projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with expertise in SQL and database structures.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to gather stakeholder requirements.
• Solid mathematical background.
• (Desired) Knowledge of gambling logic, familiarity with company products, and programming languages (Python/R).
