RE Teacher (Religious Education) - PrestonSeptember 2026 Start Full-Time Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
Hays Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in Preston to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a full-time teaching position initially offered on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The Role
As an RE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will inspire students to explore different beliefs, cultures, ethics, and philosophies, encouraging critical thinking and respectful discussion within the classroom.The successful candidate will join a collaborative Humanities department that is committed to delivering an engaging curriculum and achieving excellent outcomes for students.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Religious Education within a UK secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Humanities education
- The ability to motivate and inspire learners of all abilities
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
