️ What You'll Be Doing
You'll manage your own client portfolio while collaborating with senior colleagues on a range of business rates matters, including:
- Advising clients on business rates mitigation strategies
- Inspecting and valuing commercial properties for rating purposes
- Negotiating with the Valuation Office Agency and Billing Authorities
- Attending client meetings and supporting business development initiatives
What We're Looking For
- MRICS qualified or actively working towards qualification
- Experience in business rates valuation (private sector or VOA backgrounds welcome)
- Strong understanding of rating legislation and the Check, Challenge, Appeal process
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Commercially aware, proactive, and a strong team player
