Job Description

Role: Radiotherapy Treatment Superintendent

Location: The Harley Street Clinic, Central London

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Shift times: Service is open from 08:30-5.30pm

Contract type: Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Radiotherapy Treatment Radiographer join our team at The Harley Street Clinic, currently rated Outstanding by the CQC.

Main duties of the job

As Radiotherapy Treatment Superintendent, you will provide operational and clinical leadership to the treatment unit, ensuring the safe, effective and patient-centred delivery of radiotherapy services. Leading a team of Team Leaders and Senior Radiographers, you will oversee day-to-day service delivery, support workforce development, and act as the senior point of contact for complex clinical and operational matters. Working closely with the multidisciplinary team, you will drive service improvement initiatives, maintain robust governance and quality standards, and support the implementation of new technologies and ways of working. The role combines leadership with clinical practice, requiring hands-on expertise in treatment radiotherapy and confidence working with advanced technologies, of Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators and AlignRT, whilst ensuring compliance with HCPC, IR(ME)R and organisational standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Radiotherapy Team Leader or existing Superintendent with a strong background in treatment radiotherapy who is looking to take the next step in their career within a world-leading private healthcare environment.

Person Specification Qualifications
  • What youll bring:
  • BSc (Hons) in Radiotherapy
  • HCPC registration
  • 5+ years post-qualification experience
  • Expertise in advanced techniques (DIBH, SABR, AlignRT)
  • Leadership and service development experience
  • Knowledge of ARIA/Mosaiq, QPulse, Datix
