The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Consultant Radiologist to support a service in the West Midlands.

This opportunity offers a locum contract within a Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 shift pattern, providing structured and consistent work within a hospital environment. The role is suited to an experienced Reporting Radiologist with strong cross-sectional imaging skills and the ability to support both outpatient and inpatient reporting services.

Working within an established radiology team, you will contribute to timely diagnostic reporting, supporting cancer pathways and routine imaging services while maintaining high standards of patient care.

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide outpatient and inpatient reporting of cross-sectional imaging studies
• Support reporting of FDS and cancer pathway imaging
• Report GP chest X-rays and other diagnostic imaging as required
• Work collaboratively with radiographers, clinicians, cancer services, and wider multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and timely radiology reports in line with NHS standards
• Support efficient service delivery and patient pathways through high-quality diagnostic interpretation
• Escalate significant or urgent findings appropriately

What We're Looking For

• Active GMC registration
• Consultant Radiologist with reporting experience
• Strong experience in cross-sectional imaging reporting (CT and/or MRI)
• Recent NHS experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication, clinical judgement, and reporting skills
• Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship)
