R016/02/2026 - On-Call Firefighter - Clogher Fire Station

Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) invites applications for On-Call Firefighters at Clogher Fire Station. This role is critical to protecting the local community, ensuring timely response to emergencies.

Key responsibilities include responding to emergency calls, reporting to the station within 5 minutes of being alerted, maintaining a high standard of physical fitness, and attending a mandatory two hour drill night each week. If you are currently employed, you may serve as an On Call Firefighter provided your employer consents to your attendance at emergency calls.

Your ability to respond is essential. Four contract types are available: 119 Hour, 91 Hour Banded, 91 Hour Daytime, and 40 Hour Daytime. Full details of the contracts and role requirements are outlined in the Candidate Information Pack, which should be downloaded before the vacancy closes.
