Quantity Surveyor (PQS) - Galway City Consultancy

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor (PQS) to join a well-established consultancy based in Galway City.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused QS to work on a diverse range of projects across the West of Ireland, ideally suited to candidates with a consultancy / professional services background.

• Manage cost planning, budgeting, and financial control across projects
• Prepare tender documentation, bills of quantities, and contract administration
• Conduct cost analysis and value engineering
• Manage procurement processes and contractor selection
• Monitor project costs and provide regular financial reports
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and design teams
• Ensure projects are delivered within budget and in line with client expectations

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
• 3+ years' experience in a PQS / consultancy environment
• Strong knowledge of cost management and contract administration
• Experience working on commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Chartered status or working towards (SCSI / RICS)
• Experience with Irish construction contracts and regulations
• Proficiency in cost management software
